Weld Robot Operator

Connect Appointments have an exciting new opportunity for a Weld Robot Operator to join our client based in Prestwick.

What's on offer?

• Full-time position working 39 hours per week
• DAY OR BACK shift available
• Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:15 pm - paid at £12.10 p/h
• Back shift: Monday to Thursday, 3pm to 1:15am - paid at £16.14 p/h
• Overtime available

Working to specific company and industry requirements, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Setting, calibrating and operating robotic welding equipment
• Conducting analysis of specifications to ensure appropriate settings are used
• Welding components, ensuring that there is no distortion or errors made
• Conducting quality checks regularly

The ideal Weld Robot Operator will have:

• The ability to follow standards and work to KPIs
• The ability to follow key health & safety policies at all times
• Previous experience as a Skilled/Semi-Skilled Welder
• Excellent organisation and time-keeping skills
• The flexibility to work overtime when necessary
